Both yoga and intermodal expressive arts (visual arts, music/sound, dance/movement, writing/poetry, drama) practices invite us into the liminal space (between what was and what will be), prompting us to slow down, listen to and (re)connect with ourselves, each other and the earth. These ancient medicines are rooted in our body’s neurobiology and quietly build new neural connections and patterns. We grow in resilience, embodied awareness, self- and co-regulation, and (re)discover a deep well of resourcefulness within.
I co-create and hold a safe, non-judgmental and relaxing play-space where we can feel free in our embodied, creative explorations with openness, curiousity and love. We can be seen and witness each other expanding our individual and collective “circle of capacity” (Malchiodi, C, 2021). We can imagine and make possible new ways of being - within our body, with others and the earth.
